Kelco Communications Ltd is a trusted franchise partner of Vodafone Ireland, with a proud history built on growth, resilience, and putting customers first.
Founded in 1997 in Donegal Town, Kelco began as a local trading name selling our first handset and contract. What started as a single store quickly grew through steady expansion across the West of Ireland, driven by a commitment to service, community, and innovation.
Over the years, we have evolved alongside the telecommunications industry — from our early days selling Eircell products, to becoming an official Vodafone franchise partner following Vodafone’s acquisition of Eircell. This milestone marked a new chapter for Kelco, enabling us to scale our operations, strengthen our partnership, and expand our footprint across multiple counties.
Our journey hasn’t always been linear. We’ve made strategic decisions to ensure long-term sustainability, adapting our store network and operations to navigate economic change while continuing to invest in our people and infrastructure. These decisions have positioned Kelco for lasting success and future growth.
Today, Kelco Communications supports over 100 employees across the West of Ireland, operating retail stores throughout four West Coast counties, alongside a dedicated Head Office and Call Centre in Donegal Town. We are also proud to have a strong team of Field Sales Representatives and Business Sales Representatives, supporting customers and businesses across the entire West of Ireland.
